Collection: Space Marines

Wage war across the galaxy against the greatest foes of the Imperium as the Space Marines of the Adeptus Astartes.

Amongst the fabled angels of the Emperor, those chapters of the Adeptus Astartes who fight by the rules of the ancient Codex Astartes are known as codex compliant. These chapters are tactically flawless in their chosen style of combat, swift and powerful but also flexible enough to adapt in the midst of battle to whatever threat they may be presented with.

A force of the Space Marines in 40k will usually have the troops, armour and tools to deal with any given threat. Squads of heavily armoured Primaris Intercessors will form an unshakable core while veterans, terminators and heavy weapon teams devastate the enemy. All the while, teams of bikes and jump troops swarm the enemy lines while mighty battle tanks lay waste to vehicles, monsters, and infantry alike.

In a game of 40k, the Space Marines are the quintessential swiss army knife. While they do not excel in particular types of combat like the more unique chapters, they also lack their inherent weaknesses, making them a reliable army in any situation. As such, they make an excellent army to pick up for beginners just getting used to the game.
