Collection: Adeptus Mechanicus

Hunt down relics of technology and serve the will of the Omnissiah with the Adeptus Mechanicus.

Sitting under unique circumstances on the edge of Imperial Authority, the Adeptus Mechanicus originate from Mars and serve their machine god, the Omnissiah. Responsible for building and maintaining many of the Imperium’s war machines, they are also able to field vast military forces of their own, mechanized legions with exotic weaponry. Forever hunting for lost relics of technology from the golden ages of humanity, they will crusade across the stars for mere rumours of it.

Everything in an army of Adeptus Mechnicus in 40k is some kind of machine, from the walkers, transports and robotic automatons, to the majority of their fractionally human infantry. Their unique ranged weapons harness radiation and more, and are capable of burning through flesh and armour alike with cold efficiency. Thanks to their mechanical augmentation, their troops are also able to sometimes shrug off damage like nothing happened.

The Adeptus Mechanicus are a unique force on the tabletop. They have tools suited to any particular situation, and their units range from fragile but numerous to tough but few. Their units work best when combined with others to cover their weaknesses, and an army working perfectly in unison with careful consideration can be incredibly powerful.

Getting started with Adeptus Mechanicus

For those looking to serve the Omnissiah with Adeptus Mechanicus, start here:

  • Skitarii Rangers - The rank and file of the Mechanicus military, well-armed and armoured with unusual weaponry and a cold determination.
  • Sicarian Infiltrators - Almost all humanity gone, these unnerving stalkers are capable of decimating an unaware enemy with unfeeling efficiency.
  • Skitarii Marshall - An ageless veteran of the Skitarii with centuries of experience, the highest-quality augmentations and venerated weaponry.
  • Skorpius Dunerider - Originally designed for the deserts of Mars, this hovercraft can effectively transport Skitarii troops across the battlefield.
