Collection: Genestealer Cults

Rise up in the shadows and take world after world in the name of the four-armed gods with the Genestealer Cults.

Before a full Tyranid invasion arrives, a hive fleet will send out small groups of genestealers ahead that will integrate and start to genetically corrupt human populations. These become the Genestealer Cults, devoted to their Tyranid masters, warped beyond human recognition and ready to rise up and throw planets into chaos at a moment’s notice.

Genestealer Cult forces rely less on technology or high-tech armour and more on salvaged and improvised weaponry drawn from the industry and mining operations on their worlds. Their numbers can feel endless and they have the uncanny ability to appear from almost anywhere, launching attacks from the dark places of the world to catch professional forces off-guard.

In a game of 40k, Genestealer Cults are lightly armed and armoured and won’t usually hold up in a straight fight. However, their units have a chance to come back when destroyed and get bonuses when ambushing from off the table. They rely on hit-and-run tactics and a few hard-hitting mutants to surprise and wear down their enemies.

Talk about your brand

If you’re looking to join the Genestealer Cults of Malta, you’ll need these essentials:

  • Neophyte Hybrids - The lowest level of cultists on the battlefield, coming in large numbers with a few heavy weapons to lay down waves of firepower.
  • Goliath Truck - Former utility trucks with extra armour for battle, the Goliath performs as either a fast transport or heavy weapons platform as needed
  • Broodcoven - A Patriarch, a Magus, and a Primus form the core leadership of a battleforce, directing ambushes and assaults for the glory of the Star Children.
  • Aberrants - Horrifically mutated and unnaturally durable, Aberrants both absorb and deal out huge amounts of punishment as they lumber around the battlefield.
