Collection: Leagues of Votann

Although sharing a common ancestry with humanity from a time even before the Imperium, the Leagues of Votann are now almost as foreign as any other Xenos race. As a whole, the Leagues are focused on wealth, resources and trade, and place honour above everything to the point that even the slightest insult requires forceful retribution.

That retribution often comes in the form of an impressive show of military might, with a Votann force capable of fielding devastating advanced weaponry and warriors clad in armour easily comparable to the mighty Space Marines themselves. Though not the fastest of warriors, they are relentless, durable, and unwilling to back down under any circumstance.

On the battlefield, the Votann favour warriors on foot usually equipped with incredible power armour and even more incredible firepower. Their units tend to be on the slow side but make up for it with good durability and exceptional range that keeps them as a threat from anywhere on the field. They are also capable of hitting hard in close combat when they are able to close the distance.

To start laying claim to new worlds with the Leagues of Votann in Malta, here are some starting points:

• Hearthkyn Warriors - The core infantry of the Leagues, a squad of Hearthkyn Warriors provides both a solid anchor and flexible firepower for a force.
• Hernkyn Pioneers - Mounted on unique magna-coil bikes, the Hernkyn Pioneers are the scouts and fast attack of a force, flexible and fast enough for many roles.
• Kâhl - The Kâhl is the wise and grizzled leader of a Votann force, providing extraordinary tactical insight and enough might to hold key parts of the battlefield.
• Cthonian Beserks - Heavily augmented and heavily armed, a squad of Beserks are able to storm and tear apart almost any battlefield target.
