Collection: Adepta Sororitas

Once banned from commanding an army of men, the Imperial Ecclesiarchy, religious centre of the Imperium, instead starting building an army of women to do the Emperor’s divine work. Thus the Adepta Sororitas, or Sisters of Battle, was born, armoured women wielding fanatical faith and powerful weaponry to wipe away heresy and alien alike.

The Adepta Sororitas in 40k are focused on both sacrifice and martyrdom, often aiming to take as many enemies with them as they can. Their Battle Sisters are fanatical to the last, their angelic Seraphim and Zephyrim descend with righteous fury from the sky to carve enemy lines apart, and their Retributors and Immolator tanks can set the entire battlefield aflame as miracles rain down from the Emperor to guide them toward victory.

In game, the Sisters work with a mixture of ground infantry, jump pack infantry and vehicle support, often with a heavy focus on flamethrowers and anti-tank melta guns. While not particularly tough, they have plenty of threat at both range and up close, and they can rely on miracles to help them make critical shots or prevent lethal damage.
