Collection: Orks

Smash, chop, blast, and roar across the galaxy with the Orks for endless fighting, looting and WAAAAAAGH!

The race known as the Orks has only one purpose in the Warhammer 40k galaxy: fight, fight and fight some more! These huge, green humanoids are driven forward by the powerful need to get into a good scrap, and a happy Ork is one charging forward even if they’ve lost a leg in the process.

Orks in 40k are incredibly tough and geared towards close combat, able to overrun and smash other troops out of the way. he biggest Orks are always the ones in charge, and usually get the best weapons to use as well. Orks can also come in huge numbers, backed up by huge vehicles and machines welded together from any parts lying around.

Playing the Orks is all about getting in the enemy’s face and not leaving. They are a ball of axes, machetes, and other sharp and spiky stuff that needs to be pointed in the right direction. There are plenty of guns in the army as well, but like their engineering, Ork accuracy is famously unreliable and shooting anything often comes down to the number of bullets instead of skill.

Getting started with Orks

If you want to start a WAAAAAAGH and get some Orks in Malta, here are some essentials:

  • Ork Boyz - The regular meat of an Ork army, Ork Boyz have low armour, huge axes, thick skin, and large numbers to smash enemy infantry.
  • Trukk - Welded, stapled and bolted together from all kinds of scrap, the Trukk is the transport vehicle for the Orks, moving troops around in (relative) safety.
  • Warboss - The biggest and toughest Ork in the army, the Warboss is feared and respected by other Orks and is a powerful force in close combat.
  • Stormboyz - The Ork idea of flight engineering is strapping a huge rocket to your back, and these Stormboyz use it to make sure they’re the first into the fight.
